LeVain Bakery in Central aims to raise local expectations for artisan bread, using only premium quality ingredients in their assortment of bread, pastries and desserts. The leavening comes from the wild yeasts that are present in the wheat and atmosphere itself. The sourdough or natural Levain process develops these organisms and uses their power to make the bread rise.
