Designed to resemble an old Hong Kong tenement flat, crammed with handicrafts, keepsakes and memorabilia, Tong Saam Lau invites you to play, flirt and frolic with your artistic side in one of the city’s more unique studio environments. Step back in time to a place where inspiration is in abundance, and paint your heart out as traffic from the SoHo escalator swarms by outside your window.
For HK$150, Tong Saam Lau supplies the 40 x 50cm canvas, unlimited paint, brushes, refreshments and all the guidance you'll need to make a frame-worthy painting you can hang proudly in your home. There’s also a range of locally made handicrafts, keepsakes and curios available for purchase. All in all, a night at Tong Saam Lau is a creative and social alternative to bars and clubbing. Guests are encouraged to bring their own wine and snacks too. They open late on weekends so it's the great place to start, or even wind up an evening!
